Game Developer Creates IShowSpeed Game Where Players Can Bark and Do Backflips

A YouTuber who creates tutorials for Unreal Engine 5 and is also a game developer has developed video games inspired by IShowSpeed’s real-life broadcasts.

According to its website, “Speed”allows players to control a character named Speed as they navigate through a town, causing chaos and entertaining viewers in real life. The game, created by ‘Gorka Games’, was showcased through footage that demonstrates how players can imitate the actions of a streamer.

During his European tour, IShowSpeed allows players to bark, backflip, interact with the cameraman, and reenact popular moments, such as wrestling with the green wizard ‘Crawley’ or escaping from hordes of fans.

The corner of the screen features a live viewer tracker that requires players to engage in interesting activities in order to increase its count, but will decrease if IShowSpeed remains idle with the camera.

Gorka shared a video on YouTube and X demonstrating the game and discussing his process of developing it in UE5, from sourcing a streamer model to designing the gameplay mechanics and other non-player characters.

“Gorka urged viewers to ping IShowSpeed on various platforms including YouTube, Reddit, Instagram, and Discord in order to get his attention and encourage him to play the game.”

Despite being a barebones product created by a single developer, the game holds the charm of being the first video game based on the antics of a top streaming talent.

Despite not having done an IRL traveling stream in a while, IShowSpeed has been busy creating gaming content with Kai Cenat, producing content from home, and reacting to his idols dominating YouTube. Nevertheless, he has recently revealed his intentions to embark on a travel tour to South East Asia, similar to his previous ones.

It is uncertain whether the streamer will respond to the game, however, as it is available for free and has a file size of less than 5 GB, there is no reason to doubt that IShowSpeed will give it a try.
