Kim Se-ui, the face of the controversial YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, has shared insights into the viral photo of actor Kim Soo-hyun reportedly washing dishes in the late actress Kim Sae-ron‘s home. This image has triggered intense speculation regarding their alleged past relationship amid ongoing legal disputes and media scrutiny.

On March 27, a press conference in Seoul led by Bu Ji-seok, the legal representative for Kim Sae-ron’s family, addressed various claims circulating in the media. This event aimed to present evidence suggesting that Kim Soo-hyun began a relationship with Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor.

In response, Kim Se-ui clarified that the controversial photo’s purpose was not to confirm a timeline of romantic involvement. Instead, it served to challenge Kim Soo-hyun’s assertion that he had never visited Kim Sae-ron’s residence.

Kim emphasized the point made in the photo: “This isn’t about establishing a romantic past during her underage years. Our aim is simply to counter Kim Soo-hyun’s denial of ever being in her home.”

He further remarked that the earlier mention of the “Nth Room” scandal during Garo Sero broadcasts was not directly implicating Kim Soo-hyun. Rather, it was intended to promote reflection on what he described as “shameless behavior.” Kim Se-ui indicated that they possess additional material, which they have opted not to release to protect reputations.

Previously, Sae-ron’s family claimed that she had an intimate relationship with Kim Soo-hyun starting at age 15, lasting for six years. They rebutted allegations by YouTuber Lee Jin-ho as unsubstantiated. Initially, Kim Soo-hyun denied any involvement but later acknowledged a one-year relationship after Kim Sae-ron reached adulthood, coinciding with the emergence of private images.

In their quest to validate their assertions, Kim Sae-ron’s family has undertaken digital forensic analysis of old photos that they claim demonstrates the relationship dates back to 2015.

Simultaneously, Kim Soo-hyun has initiated legal proceedings against the Garo Sero Institute, Kim Sae-ron’s family, and an individual alleged to be her aunt, citing multiple violations, including those relating to unauthorized dissemination of private content.
