As reported by News1 on the 8th, G-Dragon has officially set his solo comeback date for the 25th of this month, with preparations now in their final stages.
This upcoming release will mark G-Dragon’s first solo album in more than seven years, following his second mini album, Kwon Ji Yong, which debuted in June 2017.
Fans were delighted when G-Dragon made a surprise appearance at Taeyang’s solo concert last month, taking the stage for the first time in quite a while and heightening excitement for his much-anticipated return as a leading figure in the K-pop industry.
Earlier this month, he wrapped up filming for the tvN show You Quiz on the Block, where he is expected to share insights about his upcoming music.
In addition, G-Dragon is set to perform with Big Bang alongside Taeyang and Daesung at the Mnet Mama Awards in Japan on November 22nd and 23rd.
Furthermore, to celebrate his birthday on August 18, a new Instagram account named ‘fanplusonedotcom’ was launched. This account serves as a special token of appreciation from G-Dragon to his fans, commemorating his birthday together with them.
Previously, his management hinted at a possible comeback in the latter half of 2024; however, there has yet to be an official announcement about the details of his return.
With fans buzzing with anticipation for more information about his comeback, the new Instagram page is already generating excitement across the fan community.
