G-Dragon Recognized as Composer for BABYMONSTER’s Return Title Track

As anticipation builds for the launch of their debut album, BABYMONSTER has generated excitement among MONSTIEZ fans by sharing the album’s tracklist. Notably, K-pop enthusiasts quickly recognized a significant name associated with the composition of the group’s title track: G-Dragon!

The highly awaited full-length album from BABYMONSTER is expected to drop on November 1, featuring a total of nine tracks: “CLIK CLAK,””DRIP,””Love, Maybe,””Really Like You,””BILLIONAIRE,””Love In My Heart,””Woke Up In Tokyo,””FOREVER,”and the “BATTER UP”Remix.

The title song, also titled “DRIP,”sees the acclaimed “K-pop King,”G-Dragon, credited as one of its composers, collaborating with Sandra Wikstrom, AiRPLAY, and Iljun.

While G-Dragon is well-known for his song composition, having created tracks for BIGBANG and his solo endeavors, he seldom writes for other artists. BABYMONSTER marks only the third group for which he has composed, following 2NE1 and iKON.

In related news, BIGBANG is expected to return to the stage at the 2024 MAMA Awards. According to reports, G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung are poised to grace the MAMA stage once more.

Shortly after this announcement, MNET issued a statement clarifying

“The lineup of artists participating in the 2024 MAMA Awards has not yet been finalized,”the organization stated.

Fans are now anxiously awaiting confirmation on whether the trio will indeed perform at the MAMA Awards, marking their first return to the event since 2015.
