In addition, a report from the YouTube news channel Garo Sero Research Institute on March 10 revealed that, as per claims from Kim Sae Ron‘s family, she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun from the age of 15 for a duration of six years. Reports suggest that she assisted him with company management when he established Gold Medalist in 2019. However, following her DUI incident in 2022, it was alleged that Gold Medalist demanded repayment of 700 million KRW (approximately $525, 000) from her in 2024.

In response to these allegations, Kim Soo Hyun’s team has categorically denied the claims, labeling them as unfounded. They further announced plans to issue a formal statement the following week featuring definitive evidence to counter these rumors.

Despite the surrounding controversy, Kim Soo Hyun maintained his commitment to filming Good Day on March 13. A spokesperson from the show clarified to Sports Seoul, “We have confirmed that the scheduled filming proceeded, but his appearances on the show have been reduced.”
