After initial reports about G-Dragon’s solo comeback planned for October, his agency has provided further details regarding this exciting news.
On September 12th, Galaxy Corporation, the label of BIGBANG’s GD, addressed the media about the K-pop superstar’s anticipated return to the music scene next month. As reported by OSEN, the company stated:
“G-Dragon’s comeback date has not been confirmed yet. It is still under discussion, and we will announce it once the schedule is set.”
The media outlet noted that G-Dragon is set to release a digital single in October and will be making an appearance on the popular tvN talk show, “You Quiz on the Block.”Reports indicate that GD and the show’s host, Yoo Jae Suk, are currently coordinating their schedules.
Previously, Galaxy Corporation revealed that GD is working on a solo song expected to be released in the latter half of 2024. However, the agency has been refuting rumors regarding an October or November comeback, creating buzz among K-pop enthusiasts.
This potential comeback holds significant meaning for VIPs (BIGBANG’s fandom) as it would mark G-Dragon’s first music release in seven years.
His last work was “KWON JI YONG,”which dropped in June 2017, and fans have been eagerly anticipating new music since then.
As part of this comeback, G-Dragon is planning a full-scale return that includes new music, performances, and appearances on various entertainment programs. He is committed to satisfying the long-awaited desires of fans who have been yearning for his return.
