Despite the twists and turns in the ongoing battle between our heroes and Sukuna, the previous chapter brought a shocking revelation – the return of Gojo Satoru. Fans were thrilled and believed that Gege had finally taken their wishes into account and resurrected Gojo.
Despite Chapter 261 being scheduled for release on May 27, 2024, raw scans have already been leaked on social media. Once again, Gege has managed to deceive us. How? Let’s uncover the truth.
Gojo Enters The Battlefield
As the chapter begins, Yuji attempts to strike Sukuna with another Black Flash, intending to crush him. But to his surprise, Sukuna counters with his own Domain Expansion. Sukuna is unable to believe what he is seeing.
Upon noticing Gojo Satoru’s presence, he also saw the stitches on his forehead and came to the realization that Yuta had copied Kenjaku’s Cursed Technique (CT) and was now inhabiting Gojo’s body. This revelation even managed to shock the King of Curses.
The Process of Yuta Taking Over Gojo Satoru’s Body
The spoilers then disclose a discussion among Yuta, Maki, and the rest of the group. Yuta’s strategy entails having Rika consume Kenjaku in order to replicate his technique. Maki disagrees with the plan, while Hakari mentions that it will only be considered as a last resort.
Kusakabe inquires about the possibility of creating a replica of Limitless, but Shoko clarifies that it is not feasible without possessing the Six Eyes. Kusakabe then proposes duplicating the Six Eyes, however, Shoko clarifies that this is impossible as it is not a cursed technique.
“If Gojo Sensei is gone, then someone else has to become a monster. If no one else is willing then i’ll do it.”

Flashback of Yuta and Gojo
During a new flashback, Yuta can be seen conversing with Gojo. Yuta reveals his intention to take over Gojo’s body if he were to die, but Gojo dismisses the idea, stating that he has no intentions of losing or being concerned about the fate of his own body.
Yuta and Gojo discuss their family history, with Yuta revealing he comes from the ‘Fujiwara’ bloodline and Gojo mentioning his possible descent from the ‘Sugawara’ clan, indicating a distant familial connection between them.
According to Gojo, if he were to lose and all the elderly members were to disappear, Gakuganji would take over Jujutsu Headquarters. In that scenario, there would be no further issues similar to those after the Shibuya incident.
After the spoilers, Amai, Yuji’s friend, demonstrates his CT that enables him to enhance and release sugar. Shoko Ieiri recruits Amai to the medical team to assist Nitta by providing sugar to their brains through his CT.
Malevolent Shrine Battles Infinite Void
Yuta is currently under attack by Sukuna and receives severe injuries. However, Arata intervenes and prevents Yuta’s wounds from worsening. Although Yuta acknowledges that his consciousness is thanks to Rika, he also acknowledges that he is close to his breaking point.
Afterward, Shoko tends to Gojo’s body, repairing and sewing it back together. This will allow Yuta to utilize the Reverse Cursed Technique and successfully complete the regeneration process when he takes over.
The chapter ends with the activation of both Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine and Gojo’s (now Yuta’s) Infinite Void. Fans are left on a cliffhanger, but unfortunately, there will be a hiatus next week.
