However, insiders caution fans not to anticipate substantial updates regarding the rumored Switch 2 during the upcoming presentation. According to various sources, the new console may not take center stage, a sentiment echoed by further leaks suggesting possible reasons for this shift.

Insights into Pokémon Generation 10 Development
According to the leaks, it appears that Pokémon Generation 10, tentatively named “Gaia,”is on track for release on the original Nintendo Switch platform. While there has been no official announcement regarding these games, many fans had speculated about their development for the anticipated Switch 2.
This speculation stems from historical patterns; typically, Nintendo has not launched more than two mainline Pokémon games on a single console. Considering the existing titles on the Switch, such as Pokémon Sword & Shield and Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, it seemed logical that Generation 10 would be exclusive to the new hardware.
Moreover, following the technical difficulties posed by Pokémon Scarlet & Violet on the original Switch, one might expect a shift towards the more powerful Switch 2. However, the latest rumors suggest that this may not be the case.
The technical performance issues faced by Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have been widely reported, with numerous bugs affecting gameplay.
Despite these concerns, there is still hope. Among the leaks, the concept of “Super Gaia”indicates that an optimized version for the Switch 2 may exist. Speculation surrounding this possible enhancement suggests it could offer improvements over the original version of Generation 10.
Additionally, there are discussions that titles initially developed for the original Switch may experience enhanced performance on the Switch 2, similar to how PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles improve older games. If this holds true, it would mean that Pokémon’s Generation 10 could perform better on the Switch 2, avoiding the issues experienced by its predecessor, Generation 9.
However, it is crucial to note that all this information has yet to receive formal validation from either Game Freak or Nintendo. As a result, fans are advised to approach the leaks with caution.
