The Dew-Kissed Chapter event, titled “Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens,”will commence on July 29, 2024 and conclude on August 4, 2024.

How to Unlock the Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens Event in Genshin Impact
- Upon reaching Adventure Rank 18.
- Finish the Archon Quest Prologue Act 3, Song of the Dragon and Freedom.
- Head to Romaritime Harbor and locate Asagiri.
After fulfilling those prerequisites, make your way to Romaritime Harbor and seek out Asagiri. This NPC can be found painting near the sea and will request that you gather some source materials for her, specifically by taking photos of various locations in Teyvat.
You’ll meet Asagiri on the bridge of Romaritime Harbor in Fontaine.
How to Play Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens Event
- Visit the designated place.
- Asagiri’s Dedicated Fontaine Kamera should be equipped.
- Use the photo-taking spot to engage with and access the Photo-Taking Mode.
- Adjust the settings and select the Interval Timer mode.
- Capture images that encompass all the elements outlined in the challenge.
This Genshin Impact event consists of 14 stages that will become available each day. To take part in the event, you must travel to the designated location, equip Asagiri’s Dedicated Fontaine Kamera, and activate the photo-taking spot to enter Photo-Taking Mode.
After activating that mode, adjust the photo’s settings during the Adjustment phase. This allows you to modify characters and angle your camera to incorporate elements requested in the challenge. Then, proceed to the photo-taking phase, where you can utilize various techniques to fulfill the stage’s objective using the Interval Timer Photography mode.
Each stage’s tasks will be highlighted during the Interval Timer Photography Mode.

Upon finishing all 14 stages, you will receive a prize of Level Up Materials and additional items. These can be utilized to unlock Navia or Nilou in phase 1 of version 4.8, or kept for future characters in the upcoming 5.0 version.
