Although details surrounding Genshin Impact 5.1 are still fresh, a flurry of intriguing leaks about 5.2 has surfaced. These recent revelations highlight Chasca and Ororon, two new characters set to be introduced in the game.
Additionally, there’s news of an event taking place in a popular Mondstadt area, as well as details about a previously undiscovered location.
Is there a Genshin Impact 5.2 release date?
No specific release date has been confirmed for the Genshin Impact 5.2 update yet.
However, based on the typical six-week update schedule, the update is expected to launch by November 20, 2024.
New Characters
Chasca is among the most eagerly awaited additions in version 5.2.
As reported by a reliable leaker, the Genshin Impact 5.2 update will introduce two new characters, specifically:
- Chasca (5-star Anemo Bow user)
- Ororon (4/5-star Electro Bow user)
Although comprehensive details about both 5-star characters remain scarce, leakers have managed to provide more insights into Chasca’s capabilities.

An anonymous leaker has revealed that the 5.2 update will introduce a new area: Citlali’s house. This location will serve as the home for Citlali, an upcoming 4-star Cryo Catalyst user from the Natlan region.
Citlali is affiliated with the Masters of the Night Wind Tribe, one of the six tribes residing in Natlan. This 4-star character is reported to work as a fortune teller, with her esteemed services even being sought after by Mualani.
5.2 Event
Should the leaks prove accurate, players are poised to return to the icy landscapes of Dragonspine. The previous Dragonspine event, “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon,” involved players collecting Rime-Worn Fragments and completing Testing Ground Challenges for Albedo.
While specific details about the 5.2 event are not yet available, it is likely that players will see more interactions with Albedo and his allies.
