Ultimate Team revolves around constructing your ideal team comprised of top players, including popular Heroes and Icons. However, this is only the beginning, as the developers frequently introduce unique cards to update the meta and maintain a thrilling experience.
Every year, a number of these events are consistently released at the same time. Therefore, which event will be the first to be promoted in FC 25?
What is the first EA FC 25 promo?
The upcoming promotion in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team is anticipated to be Road to the Knockouts, although it has not yet been confirmed by the developers. This event highlights European tournaments such as the Champions League and Europa League, granting players special cards that increase in value depending on their performance during the group stage.
Each new promo awards special cards to the world’s best players.
Despite being the first event for many years, Ones to Watch was replaced by RTTK in FC 24. However, the previous season also introduced the Nike Mad Ready event which was only available to those with early access. It is uncertain if the developers have any similar plans in store.
You should also anticipate the release of a batch of Team of the Week cards on the first Wednesday of September 25. These black items are not considered a promotional event, but they are released every week in order to introduce even more unique cards to the game.

While the schedule is not disclosed in advance, there are specific Ultimate Team events that occur annually and are expected to make a comeback in FC 25. For instance, the promotions for Team of the Year and Team of the Season consistently take place in January and April respectively.
Despite this, there were numerous special cards introduced last season that could potentially be subject to modifications, replacements, or removals in order to make way for new additions. EA is known for constantly refreshing the game throughout the season, which means there will likely be a plethora of new promotions that they will have to make space for.
In contrast to FC 24, which was heavily focused on Euro 2024 and Copa America, FC 25 will not feature these tournaments. Therefore, it is likely that returning promotions and new additions will fill the gap in the summer content for FC 25.
In general, the upcoming event is typically only announced a couple of days beforehand on an in-game loading screen, so be sure to pay attention to the latest updates and announcements.
