Each Bangboo possesses unique attributes and abilities, making it important for players to choose them according to their own characters and teams. These can be acquired by pulling from the Bangboo banner.

2. Top Tier

The six Bangboos in the SS tier are all either 5-star or S-rank, making them significantly superior to the A-rank Bangboos with no stars.

In spite of this, every Bangboo possesses a unique attribute and is suitable for various teams. Buttler is known as the most effective support Bangboo, as it offers a significant amount of energy regeneration. Nonetheless, the team must have a minimum of 2 Victoria Housekeeping members.

Sharkboo, Safety, Amillion, Plugboo, and Resonaboo are the top picks for offense due to their impressive damage output. It should be noted that each of these choices is exclusive to a specific elemental team.

In order to optimize performance, Sharkboo requires a minimum of 2 Ice characters, Safety needs a minimum of 2 Belobog Heavy Industries characters, Amillion is most effective with 2 Cunning Hares, Plugboo functions best with 2 Electro characters, and Resonaboo is most effective with 2 Ether characters.

Top Tier

The two Bangboos in this tier are also ranked as S-tier, similar to the Bangboos in the SS tier. However, their limited flexibility prevents them from reaching the same level as the SS tier Bangboos. Although Rocketboo can synergize with at least two Fire characters on a team, there are currently only a few enemies with a weakness to fire, making Fire teams less effective.

On the other hand, Bangvolver requires a minimum of 2 Physical characters. While Physical is a strong element in Zenless Zone Zero, the damage output of Bangvolver is not as reliable as Amillion’s due to the possibility of its skill failing and shooting a paintball instead.

Top Tier

The Bangboos ranked A tier and below are considered A-rank Bangboos and therefore have lower stats compared to the S-rank Bangboos. Nevertheless, among all the A-rank Bangboos, they are considered superior.

Exploreboo and Magnetiboo are designed for providing support, while Bagboo, Penguinboo, Electroboo, and Devilboo are more suited for dealing higher damage.

Exploreboo stands out as the top choice in this tier due to its ability to heal, shield, and regenerate Energy. This makes it a versatile addition to any team.

Bagboo ranks as the second best in this tier due to his compatibility with any team that includes attack characters. In contrast, the other characters are only suitable for one specific elemental-type team.

5. Tier B

The tier below the highest tier is occupied by the Bangboos, who are not as versatile and possess slightly inferior attributes compared to those on the tier above.

All of these options can serve as support, but Sumoboo stands out among them because it has a greater ability to disorient enemies. The others are more difficult to utilize and lack the versatility of the higher-level Bangboos.

6. Tier C

The lower tiers are home to the Bangboos that players typically try to avoid. Nonetheless, Avocaboo is a superior choice as it has the ability to heal characters, which can be crucial. Players should prioritize Bangboos that can enhance the damage of their team, as dodging and parrying are relatively effortless in this game.

With that being said, I hope this tier list has been useful in helping you decide which Bangboo would make the best buddy for you. By now, you should have a clear idea of which one you want.
