Fans of GFRIEND, known as Buddies, are buzzing with excitement on social media regarding news of a reunion.
Korean news source JoyNews24 has reported that GFRIEND is set to release a new project in January 2025, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of their debut.
According to various sources, the reunion will be helmed by GFRIEND’s previous agency, SOURCE MUSIC, which has maintained a positive relationship with the group despite their disbandment.
GFRIEND officially parted ways in May 2021. Since then, Sowon has pursued acting, while Yuju and Yerin have embarked on solo musical careers. SinB, Eunha, and Umji have formed a new trio called VIVIZ.
On platform X (formerly Twitter), Buddies have been quick to express their joy over the latest updates.
