GFRIEND’s Official Website Accused of Selling Prostitution Services: Fans Outraged

Source Music, the current agency of LE SSERAFIM and former agency of GFRIEND, released an official statement refuting allegations made by Min Hee-jin, the CEO of ADOR, the agency for NewJeans.

Although the statement’s comment was initially calm, it quickly became flooded with outraged fans. One fan specifically called out Source Music for their perceived lack of responsibility towards their former artists, GFRIEND.

Specifically, the previously mentioned fan shared a link to the official Japanese website of GFRIEND, stating that the website is currently under the ownership of individuals who are promoting prostitution services.

Despite the fact that the URL is “gfriendofficial.jp,”there were concerns that this could potentially damage the reputation of the girl group. People expressed frustration towards Source Music for allowing this to occur.

On the other hand, some argue that the agency should not be held accountable for maintaining the URL of an artist who is no longer under their management.
