Fans of (G)I-DLE are well aware of her immense talent. As a member of the group, she showcases her skills as both a vocalist and rapper, while also pursuing a successful solo career since 2017. Additionally, she serves as the creative director and main producer for (G)I-DLE, demonstrating her versatility and multifaceted abilities.

(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon Reveals She Wants To Work With ITZY
On April 24, 2024, Lee Chaeyeon premiered the 13th episode of her YouTube series, “Inssadong Sulzzi.”In this show, Chaeryeong frequently invites celebrities, including her close friends, to join her for drinks despite her low alcohol tolerance. For the latest installment, she welcomed (G)I-DLE’s Soyeon, who shares a friendship with Lee Chaeyeon.

During their leisurely indulgence in drinks and snacks from a charcuterie board, Lee Chaeyeon inquired about Soyeon’s dream collaboration. Soyeon revealed her desire to produce for the JYP Entertainment girl group, ITZY, without hesitation.
Lee Chaeyeon seemed taken aback by her response, most likely because ITZY member Chaeryeong happens to be her younger sister! She then inquired from Soyeon the reason behind her desire to collaborate with ITZY.
She mentioned that she has previously worked together with ITZY for a performance. Back in 2019, ITZY and (G)I-DLE joined forces for a rendition of Beyonce’s “Diva”at the MBC Gayo Daejejeon. In 2020, Soyeon and former (G)-IDLE member Soojin collaborated with ITZY’s Yeji and Ryujin, as well as IZ*ONE’s Yuri and Minju, to perform Fifth Harmony’s “Reflection”at the 2020 MBC Gayo Daejejeon.

During her collaborations with ITZY for these performances, Soyeon came to appreciate the members’ charm and the potential for them to showcase even more to the public.
Upon hearing this, Lee Chaeyeon nodded in agreement and playfully replied, “Alright, I see you. You can collaborate with them!”
