On July 19th, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon attended an event at Paradise City in Incheon, where she was nominated for two awards: Best New Female Entertainer and Popularity Star. The rest of the (G)I-DLE members also joined her for a celebratory performance on stage.
Miyeon expressed her gratitude to fans after winning the TIRTIR Popularity Star Award. She stated, “I never expected to be recognized with an award. It’s an honor just to be present at this amazing awards ceremony and I am extremely grateful for this prestigious recognition. This award only motivates me to continue working harder and striving to be an even more dedicated Miyeon.”
In the past, Miyeon served as a panelist on JTBC’s “My Sibling’s Romance” , providing insightful analysis on the participants’ emotions as they formed romantic relationships. Her contributions greatly enhanced the show’s entertainment value and audience engagement. As a result, “My Sibling’s Romance” became the top-rated program on Wavve for gaining new paid subscribers, breaking its own record.
(G)I-DLE gave a passionate live performance of their title track “Klaxon”from their 7th mini album “I SWAY”, igniting the crowd with their high-quality performance. They then continued with “Fate”, a chart-topping song that has been making waves this year.
The audience was left in awe as the members showcased their flawless vocal abilities and then took it a step further by joining them in the audience area to inspire participation. This prompted the attendees to stand up, move to the beat, and join in on the singing.
In addition, (G)I-DLE will be making an appearance on MBC’s “Show! Music Core”today (July 20th) as part of their ongoing comeback promotional activities.
