Renowned pop star Ice Spice has been accused of plagiarizing the music video for the (G)I-DLE song “Nxde”.
On July 26, American musician Ice Spire released the music video for her newest song, “Oh Shhh…”. However, shortly after its release, the MV faced accusations of plagiarism as netizens pointed out its similarities with (G)I-DLE’s “Nxde”MV.
Specifically, within the “Nxde”MV, there is a specific moment where Soyeon can be seen standing inside a museum display case, adorned in a detailed white ensemble, while being watched by displeased individuals in her surroundings.
At the same time, the music video for “Oh Shhh…”also includes a scene of Ice Spice wearing a white outfit and standing in front of a glass enclosure, surrounded by disappointed museum-goers in a similar setting.
I’m sorry but this is literally plagiarism… the scene, the editing, the styling even transitions look same … nevies shouldn’t keep silent and the original NXDE director should know about thisThis is already 2nd time idle gets copied pic.twitter.com/bauTF1bCC1

Moreover, the similarities in editing and transitions between Ice Spice and (G)I-DLE’s music videos have led fans to strongly suspect that the former’s MV team copied the latter’s.
On the other hand, some argue that the props and transitions utilized in the 2 MVs are not entirely original, stating that they have been featured in numerous other videos in the past.
