(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon Returns to Promotional Activities Following Health Issues

On June 3rd, Soyeon took to her SNS to announce, “Neverland (fandom name), the weather is beautiful today. I have a schedule to attend, so please don’t worry about me and enjoy your day.”This announcement from the artist herself served to reassure concerned fans about her return to activities.

Soyeon was unable to attend the YIZHIYU & (G)I-DLE offline fan signing event and special fan event scheduled for June 1st due to health issues. On this occasion, her agency Cube Entertainment announced, “Soyeon had to seek medical attention for health concerns and the doctors advised her to take a break and prioritize rest and recovery. In the best interest of her well-being, we have decided to temporarily halt all activities and allow her to focus on recuperation.”

With Soyeon’s announcement that she will be returning to (G)I-DLE’s activities, the group will resume their full-group promotions. In January, (G)I-DLE released their second full album “2”and promoted their title track “Super Lady”. Most recently, the group has been electrifying audiences at university festivals with their live performances.

As they celebrate their 6th debut anniversary this year, (G)I-DLE will kick off their world tour, “2024 (G)I-DLE World Tour ‘i-DOL’,”with a concert in Seoul. The tour will take them to 14 cities around the globe, including Hong Kong, Tokyo, Tacoma, Oakland, Anaheim, Houston, Rosemont, Belmont Park, Taipei, Bangkok, Macau, Melbourne, and Sydney.
