The announcement provided much-needed relief to Neverlands, the dedicated fans of the group, who had been eagerly anticipating updates on Soyeon’s health and well-being.
The 23-year-old performer, recognized for her commanding stage presence and remarkable musical talent, comforted her fans with a concise yet meaningful statement:
“Neverland, the weather is nice today. I’m out for a schedule. Don’t worry about me anymore and have a happy day.”
The direct interaction with her fans offered reassurance and indicated her preparedness to continue her duties within the group.
Soyeon’s decision to take a break from her scheduled appearances was influenced by health concerns, which resulted in her absence from the YIZHIYU & (G)I-DLE offline fan signing event and special fan event scheduled for June 1st.
Previously, Cube Entertainment, the representative agency of (G)I-DLE, had released a statement regarding Soyeon’s health concerns.
“Soyeon recently visited the hospital due to health issues and received medical advice that sufficient rest and stability are necessary. In consideration of the artist’s health, we have decided to temporarily suspend all schedules to allow the artist to focus on rest and treatment.”

As (G)I-DLE prepares to commemorate their 6th debut anniversary this year, they are ready to embark on a significant journey with their “2024 (G)I-DLE World Tour ‘i-DOL’.”
The tour will begin with a concert in Seoul and will continue on to 14 cities around the world, including Hong Kong, Tokyo, Tacoma, Oakland, Anaheim, Houston, Rosemont, Belmont Park, Taipei, Bangkok, Macau, Melbourne, and Sydney.
