Giji Harem anime confirms Summer 2024 release with PV

On Monday, April 8, 2024, Giji Harem anime’s official website and X handle released a new promotional video announcing that the series will debut in the upcoming Summer 2024 season. The PV also gives a sneak peek of the opening theme song for the series.

The anime series Giji Harem, also referred to as Pseudo Harem, is based on the popular manga written and illustrated by Yu Saito. Serialized by Shogakukan in Monthly Shonen Sunday from January 2019 to 2021, the manga spanned six Tankobon volumes.

Highly Anticipated Giji Harem Anime Set to Debut in July 2024

The anime’s official staff recently uploaded a promotional video on YouTube announcing that the highly anticipated Giji Harem anime will be released in July 2024. This means that the anime will be airing during the Summer 2024 season. However, the exact release date and broadcast information have not yet been announced.

The latest trailer offers fans a sneak peek into the anime’s enthralling storyline, showcasing a variety of humorous interactions and poignant scenes between Rin Nanakura and Eiji Kitahama, the protagonists.

Furthermore, the promotional video features a sneak peek of the anime’s opening theme song, Blouse, performed by the four-piece band GOHOBI. The trailer incorporates the song as background music while introducing the key characters of the show.

Surprisingly, GOHOBI’s comments about the composition of the opening theme song have been shared on the anime’s official website. According to the band members, the song’s lyrics are filled with intense feelings of love.

Furthermore, the series has announced the addition of more staff members. The anime’s website confirms that Azusa Sasaki will serve as the color designer and Mutsumi Takemiya as the editor. The team also welcomes Shinji Katahira in the art department, Kei Machida in photography, Kasai Planning in sound, and Takuya Sato as the sound director.

Recently, it was announced that Nobuhiko Okamoto, the skilled voice actor, would be voicing Eiji Kitahama, while Saori Hayami would take on the role of Rin Nanakura. Additionally, it was revealed that Mai Narumi would be starring as Ayaka Nanakura, Rin’s younger sister.

Nomad Studios is currently being directed by Toshihiro Kikuchi, while Yuuko Kakihara is overseeing the scripts. The character designs are the responsibility of Yoshihisa Sato, and the music is being produced by Pony Canyon. Takeshi Watanabe is credited as the music composer for the series.
