The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute released a report on May 12th stating that NewJeans had placed 20th in the Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings for the period of April 12th to May 12th, 2024. This marks a decrease of 13 spots from their previous rank of No.7 last month.
Min Hee-jin, in particular, is accused of trying to gain control of ADOR’s management rights from HYBE. On April 22nd, HYBE carried out an audit of ADOR executives, led by CEO Min Hee-jin, and stated that they had obtained tangible evidence. This led to a complaint being filed against Min Hee-jin on April 25th for breach of trust. In response, Min Hee-jin denied all allegations made by HYBE.
At present, IVE has taken the top spot in this month’s Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings. Following closely behind are No.2 ILLIT, No.3 (G)I-DLE, No.4 LE SSERAFIM, and No.5 BABYMONSTER. The remaining groups in the top 10 include TWICE, aespa, BLACKPINK, Apink, and Oh My Girl, who ranked from No.6 to No.10 in the chart.
