On Saturday, November 9, 2024, fans of anime and manga celebrated the unveiling of the first promotional video for Go For It, Nakamura! This highly anticipated series, which will make its debut in 2025, features a glimpse into the lives of its main characters, showcasing their voices and personalities.

An Adaptation from Manga to Screen

The anime brings to life the beloved Japanese manga created by Syundei, which first appeared in Akane Shinsha’s Opera Manga in December 2014. The initial serialization ran until August 2016, followed by a sequel, Go For It Again, Nakamura!, which was published between June 2017 and June 2021 across two tankobon volumes.

Main Cast Revealed: Chiaki Kobayashi and Yuki Sakakihara Lead

The newly released promotional video confirmed the principal cast of Go For It, Nakamura!. Chiaki Kobayashi takes on the role of Okuto Nakamura, the timid protagonist, while Yuki Sakakihara voices Aiki Hirose, Nakamura’s charming love interest. Both actors have established themselves in the industry, with Kobayashi renowned for roles such as Gabimaru from Hell’s Paradise and Sakakihara known for voicing the Corpse God in Dead Mount Dead Play.

The directorial vision comes from Aomi Umeki, with script contributions from both Umeki and Yasuko Aoki, along with music composition by Ayana Tsujita.
