Fans of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! can mark their calendars for an April 2025 premiere. This announcement came through a recently released promotional video and visual from the anime’s official team. In conjunction, updates have been shared on the anime’s dedicated website and X (formerly Twitter), confirming the return of key staff members for this much-anticipated sequel.
New Developments and Exciting Video Content
Scheduled to air on the Agaru Anime timeslot across 28 CBC and TBS-affiliated networks in Japan, the second season follows the journey laid out in its predecessor, which consisted of 12 episodes broadcast from April to June 2024. The series is adapted from Negi Haruba’s beloved superhero fantasy manga, which has been captivating readers since its serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since February 2021. To date, 16 tankobon volumes have been published.
On November 8, 2024, the new promotional video not only confirmed the April 2025 release window but also revisited iconic moments from the first season. It provides a glimpse into each character’s motivations and hints at Fighter D’s strategic counterattack against the remaining Divine Dragon Keepers.
Creative Team Returns to Enchant Viewers
In addition to the trailer, the production team has revealed a captivating teaser visual featuring Fighter D alongside the elusive Hibiki Sakurama. The rich, dark atmosphere of this illustration undoubtedly elevates anticipation for the new episodes.
The core team responsible for the anime will reprise their roles: Keiichi Sato will once again serve as the series director at Yostar Pictures, while Keiichiro Ochi returns as the series composer and writer. Character designs will continue under the talented Kahoko Koseki, with Yoshihiro Ike leading the music composition.
What to Expect from Season 2
While a detailed synopsis has yet to be released, we know that Season 2 will pick up the adaptation at chapter 52 of the manga, following the first season’s conclusion at chapter 51. Viewers will be introduced to the Dreamy School Life Arc, chronicling Fighter D’s ongoing quest to track down and defeat the remaining Divine Dragon Keepers, having already vanquished the Blue Keeper.
As Fighter D faces new challenges, fans can look forward to significant developments regarding Hibiki Sakurama, who is set to play a crucial role in the unfolding narrative of Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2.
