She remarked, “Tokyo has always been the same. I always felt hurried and had to depart as if I were being pursued. Although I promised myself to come back, it took 9 years for that to happen. Even now, 9 years later, I have yet to fully explore Tokyo.”

During the epilogue, Go Hyun-jung revealed, “In 1995, I departed from the entertainment industry, tied the knot, and began my newlywed life in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. I resided there for almost three years and was completely unfamiliar with the surroundings. Being too timid to venture out alone, I mostly stayed at home during my leisure time, regardless of whether I had company or not. As a result, I spent a significant amount of time by myself.”

She recounted, “In Tokyo, I began to do things on my own, such as dining solo and going shopping alone. It required bravery to face the moments of solitude in Tokyo, even though I was technically with someone.”

In 1995, Go Hyun-jung married Chung Yong-jin, the chairman of Shinsegae, and they had a son and a daughter. However, the couple divorced in 2003, and Chung Yong-jin was granted custody of their children.
