Elle Korea’s YouTube channel posted Go Hyun-jung’s interview video on June 20th.
Go Hyun-jung used the “muscular arm” emoji to represent how others perceive her, while she chose the “slightly sad face” emoji to depict her own self-image. She explained that her public persona may be seen as strong and determined due to her work and media coverage, but she also experiences and empathizes with injustices and worldly issues. She acknowledges that her perfectionistic nature can be viewed in both positive and negative ways, and it can be frustrating when negative comments can’t be easily disregarded. She also admits to feeling hurt at times.
During her appearance on Jung Jae-hyung’s “Fairy Table,”Go Hyun-jung revealed that she is actually much kinder than how people perceive her. She jokingly added that talking about it might stir up gossip once again. Go Hyun-jung has often been labeled as bossy, but she admits that she wouldn’t mind the accusations if they were true and she had acted in such a manner. She usually keeps such matters to herself, but decided to share with Jae-hyung due to their close relationship. She ended her statement by playfully choosing a “sticking-tongue-out face”emoji and an ice cream emoji to convey her gentleness.
