During the “Namib”press conference, director Kang Min-gu elaborated on Go Hyun-jung’s situation. He noted that the actress has been exerting herself considerably throughout the filming process, leading to some physical tolls.

“Although she never left the set during filming, she sometimes showed signs of fatigue after wrapping up for the day,” stated Kang. He remained optimistic, adding, “We have two days of filming left. I believe Go Hyun-jung will see it through with her strong determination.”

“I was much sicker than I thought, but I didn’t believe it. I assumed I was imagining things, so I didn’t visit the hospital. When I finally went for a health checkup, it was serious. I was in a condition where I couldn’t even undergo the full examination,” she explained.

When questioned about the critical nature of her condition, Go Hyun-jung acknowledged, “It was critical. Since the examination couldn’t proceed, two hospitals collaborated to complete the health check. I fell and approached a passerby, ‘Excuse me, I’m Go Hyun-jung. Please save me.’”
