Despite facing severe damage from false accusations linking her to the Burning Sun Scandal, actress Go Joon-hee has recently hinted at her return to the entertainment industry. She was forced to take a hiatus and withdraw from a project she was working on due to the relentless hate and unprofessional behavior of her former agency and the worst collaboration.
In 2019, the Burning Sun Scandal was exposed as a major criminal case, encompassing a range of offenses such as assault, drug trafficking, sexual crimes, and distribution of illegal videos at a club named Burning Sun in Gangnam, Seoul. During this period, Go Joon-hee was falsely accused and wrongly identified as an actress who had provided entertainment at the club.
The individuals involved in the Burning Sun Scandal, including Jung Joon-young, Choi Jong-hoon, and Seungri, have all faced punishment, with some even completing their prison sentences. However, the scandal resurfaced in May of this year, five years after its initial occurrence, when BCC brought it back into the spotlight, garnering significant interest. Meanwhile, Go Joon-hee returned to the public eye with her role in the play “Angels in America,”and has been receiving support from the online community.
