At the press conference, the MC introduced Go Kyung-pyo, noting that the actor had recently returned to his usual appearance after losing weight. Sporting a sleek and polished look, Go Kyung-pyo shared that he had gotten a hime cut the day before the press conference specifically for the event. He explained, “I decided to cut my hair, which I had been growing for the past 6 months, in order to look my best for this important occasion. I am fully committed to giving my all here since I currently have no other projects lined up aside from ‘Frankly Speaking’.”
When questioned about the contrast between his current character and his previous experience in comedy acting, Go Kyung-pyo explained, “I utilized the knowledge and expertise I gained from my previous comedy projects for this one. It’s a refreshing drama that can be enjoyed without feeling exhausted. It’s akin to a sitcom, a captivating drama that viewers can relate to.”
The actor discussed the aspects of his character that he found relatable during the filming process. He explained, “In my daily life, I am not in a position to have a boss. The people around me are usually colleagues, and occasionally seniors. I do not have anyone who hinders me like a boss. Even at the age of 35, I still find many things endearing. Instead of simply empathizing with others, I make an effort to understand their emotions and provide comfort.”
