Gojo finally beats Jujutsu Kaisen fans’ bad teacher allegations

It is indisputable that many would desire a mentor like Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen. He has transformed significantly from his past as a rash and conceited youth. Currently, he prioritizes the needs of his students and holds great concern for their welfare. In addition, he fulfilled Toji Fushiguro’s final request by taking his son, Megumi, under his tutelage.

Although he has the proper credentials, he has been sometimes criticized for being a subpar educator. Instead of focusing on teaching, he has been accused of flaunting his abilities to his students. Additionally, he has faced allegations of not taking serious matters seriously. This is exemplified when he prioritized showcasing his talents instead of addressing Yuji’s ingestion of Sukuna’s finger.

Despite a few isolated instances, it is fair to say that Gojo is not a bad teacher. This has been consistently reinforced.

Gojo’s Teaching Style Shatters “Bad Teacher”Stereotypes in Jujutsu Kaisen

The tweet mentioned above is in regards to the intense battle between Gojo and Ryomen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen. It is an understatement to say that the battle was anything less than epic. Both Gojo and Sukuna pushed each other to their limits, utilizing a variety of techniques. However, the focus of the tweet is on Gojo.

During the battle, Gojo was sustaining injuries but was able to heal himself using the Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT). As fans are aware, Cursed Techniques (CT) are inscribed onto the brain. When employing Domain Expansion (DE), the CT is activated and excessive use can result in the CT being depleted.

CT burnout cannot be cured through RCT alone. In an attempt to heal himself, Gojo deliberately damaged his own brain using CE and then used RCT to restore it. However, an issue arises when the brain is healed because its intricate structure prevents it from returning to its original state. Although the brain will heal and DE will eventually regenerate, it will not fully revert back to its previous condition.

Despite being two of the most knowledgeable characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, neither Gojo nor Sukuna were aware of the complete details about the CT being etched onto the brain. Therefore, with each healing, there would be a slight alteration in its “structure”. This ultimately led to a nosebleed as he continuously attempted to use his damaged brain in an ineffective manner.

Based on this, it was undoubtedly a highly agonizing experience. However, he remained determined to maintain his smile, recognizing its significance in his students’ composure. Furthermore, he continued to resist even in the face of adversity, such as when Sukuna summoned Mahoraga and utilized Megumi’s Ten Shadows technique.

Gojo Satoru receives overwhelming support from fans as a “great teacher”

Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen were impressed by Gojo’s actions, enduring excruciating pain to reassure his students, and felt that he deserved a salute for his dedication.

Despite the accusations against the teacher, there was a strong response on social media in defense of his character. Despite occasional displays of arrogance, Gojo has consistently been a reliable mentor and has imparted valuable lessons to his students. This is evident in the growth of sorcerers such as Yuta Okkotsu and Yuji Itadori throughout the series.

“And I’m supposed to believe he was “selfish,” when he was literally killing himself to protect everyone else.”

As previously stated, Gojo was enduring significant blows during the fight against Sukuna. He was being subjected to physical assaults from the Demon King while also experiencing intense pain deep within his mind.

“Any other sorcerer except Sukuna would’ve dropped dead instantly with this injury but bro looked unhinged and handled the 3v1 incredibly well”

Despite the immense discomfort he must have been experiencing, any other sorcerer would have given up. Having one’s brain repeatedly damaged, repaired, and forced to work overtime sounds excruciating. Furthermore, he was once fighting against three opponents at once, with Sukuna summoning Mahoraga and the combined Ten Shadows Shikigami.

According to one netizen’s opinion:

“MAd respect for him how he maintained his composure during the whole fight and keep maho & sukuna at the edge”

Despite the chaos of the battle, Gojo remained composed and effortlessly evaded attacks, displaying his usual nonchalant demeanor. It is his remarkable abilities in situations like these that have earned him the title of “The Strongest Sorcerer.”
