Satoru Gojo has emerged as the winner of the manga’s 4th popularity poll, receiving an impressive 113,392 votes. Coming in second and third places were Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro, respectively.
According to an announcement from Jump Press on Shonen Jump’s YouTube channel, the dark fantasy manga series Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami will come to a close in only five more chapters. Therefore, the final chapter, 271, will be released on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Top Character in Jujutsu Kaisen’s 4th Popularity Poll: Satoru Gojo
Days before its official announcement, on Thursday, August 22, 2024, the results of the fourth popularity poll for the Jujutsu Kaisen manga franchise were leaked by @Go_Jover, a former Twitter user now on X.
Satoru Gojo’s victory in the final popularity poll for the manga series was a remarkable one, with an impressive 113,392 votes. This was unexpected, considering that in the previous poll, the popular character had only ranked third with 11,591 votes.
Yuji Itadori, the main character of the series, held onto his second place position in the popularity poll with 48,131 votes. This was a significant increase from his previous rank, where he received 24,038 votes, almost half of what he received this time.
In the fourth popularity poll, Megumi Fushiguro, the deuteragonist of the series, received 28,502 votes, placing him in third. He had previously held the top spot in the popularity poll with 30,059 votes, but this time his popularity appeared to have slightly declined.
Despite Megumi’s impressive tally of 30,059 votes in the previous popularity poll, it was surpassed by Satoru Gojo’s staggering 113,392 votes in the current poll, making him the most-voted character in the franchise’s history. This new record number of votes is significantly higher than the previous record, with a difference of over 80,000 votes. It is evident that Satoru Gojo has achieved a new level of popularity within the manga series.
Among the top 10 ranked characters were also Suguru Geto (19,156 votes), Naoya Zenin (11,731 votes), Choso (6,247 votes), Yuta Okkotsu (5,991 votes), Nanami Kento (4,162 votes), Ryomen Sukuna (4,077 votes), and Toji Fushiguro (3,218 votes). In total, 192 characters were voted for in the final popularity poll for the manga franchise.
