In online communities, there has been a widespread sharing of a high-definition photo from SBS’s program “Unanswered Questions,”which restored the CCTV footage of the suspect involved in the safe theft case of Goo Ha-ra.
The photograph depicts the suspect’s face after the night camera’s glow has been removed. Furthermore, images with enhanced details were shared after being processed through a restoration application.
On the 22nd, “Unanswered Questions”featured an episode discussing the burglary of Goo Ha-ra’s safe and the efforts to identify the thief using CCTV footage from her home. Goo Ha-ra’s brother, Goo Ho-in, revealed, “I had already removed all the important items from the safe while organizing it. The thief only took an empty safe.”It is reported that the thief fled with a 31-kg safe without searching the rest of the house.
With the assistance of professional guidance and a thorough investigation, “Unanswered Questions”successfully identified the culprit’s physical features, noting that he had a pierced left ear and was in his late 20s to early 30s. The individual is said to be around 170cm in height and has a large build. The show also revealed, “He has a prominent jawline and slightly protruding cheekbones.”
After the CCTV photo went viral, there were speculations that the thief resembled Zico, leading to the spread of rumors. However, Zico’s agency promptly refuted these claims and declared their intent to take strict legal action against any baseless rumors or misinformation.
