Google has released the Android 13 QPR3 Beta 2.1 update for Pixel phones.

Google has now released another incremental beta of the Pixel phones’ Quarterly Platform Releases. The newest version, dubbed Android 13 QPR3 beta 2.1, arrives nearly a week after the second beta. The latest software is being distributed to Pixel devices with the T3B2.230316.005 build number. You can rapidly install it on your smartphone because it is a little incremental upgrade. This one is approximately 7.7MB in size. This build is still based on the monthly security patch for March 2023. The next build will have a newer security patch.

The Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a (5G), Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro are all eligible for the latest update.

When it comes to modifications, the only one coming with the incremental beta – Android 13 QPR3 beta 2.1 is modem updates, although you can expect system-wide improvements with the upgrade. Below are the release notes that Google published with the launch of the Android 13 QPR3 beta 2.1 update.

The following enhancements are included in this minor release to Android 13 QPR3 Beta 2:

  • Modem updates

If your Pixel is already running a QPR build, the update will be delivered over-the-air. If you are on the stable Android 13 update, you will need to join the Android beta program to try out the new software. You can enroll in the beta program by going to the Android Beta Program website. Once enrolled, you will be able to update your phone to the latest Android 13 Alpha version.
