What Happened In Season 1 of Grand Blue?
Season 1 concluded with Iori and the Peek-a-Boo club on an exciting trip to Miyakojima. The episode started off with plenty of diving action, but Iori was feeling down as he had failed the diving exam and couldn’t participate.
Fortunately, Chisa, who was usually quite harsh towards Iori, checked in on him and managed to lift his spirits, showcasing a sweeter side of her personality.
Afterwards, they shifted gears upon returning to their lodge and engaged in a drinking game called “Otori,” where they poured drinks into a barrel and each person took turns making a speech while everyone sipped from their cups.
The night wrapped up peacefully as Iori forged closer connections with his club members, culminating with everyone heading back to college the following day.
What Will Happen In Season 2?
For those eager to know what lies ahead in season 2 of Grand Blue, rest assured it promises to be just as entertaining as the first season. The anime concluded at the 21st chapter of the manga, so if you’re looking to get ahead, you can start reading from chapter 22 of Grand Blue.
If the upcoming season follows the manga’s timeline, it will kick off with the girls from the diving club hosting a party. This idea came about when Aina noticed that the men always had the fun and festivities while the girls stayed behind.
