Gravity Falls Fans Divided Over Trans-Coded Character

Despite Gravity Falls ending in 2016, one character is currently causing controversy among fans due to “trans-coded”reports.

Thanks to an automated response from Google, it is unclear to fans whether the report claiming that Dipper from Gravity Falls is “trans-coded”is accurate or simply a fan theory.

The discussion was brought to Reddit, causing a split in opinion among fans. “I came across this question in the comments and I can’t stop thinking about it. Was Dipper really intended to be transgender or is it just a fan theory?”a fan inquired.

The screenshot in question reveals that series creator Alex Hirsch acknowledged Dipper’s trans-coded identity, but due to Disney’s involvement, this information was not officially incorporated into the canon of the show.
