In Gray Zone Warfare, the Push To Talk feature enables efficient communication with other players in your lobby. This is crucial for success in the various quests of this tactical shooter. To enable in-game voice chat (push to talk) in Gray Zone Warfare, follow these steps.
Enabling Push To Talk in Gray Zone Warfare
Enabling in-game voice chat is a simple process that can be done from the main settings. By default, it is turned on, but you can also manually activate it if necessary.
- Press the Tab button to open your inventory.
- Open the in-game settings by clicking on the gear icon.
- Scroll over to the Audio Section (present under the Game tab).
- Toggle the on/off option to enable/disable in-game voice chat.
When it comes to VOIP, there are two available options.
- Squad VOIP – This allows you to communicate with your teammates. There’s no fear of anyone else overhearing what you’re telling your allies.
- Proximity VOIP – This feature will allow enemies to speak with you (and vice versa). Keep this turned on only if you know what you’re doing. (This mode can offer you some unique advantages when used properly)
How to Utilize Push To Talk in Gray Zone Warfare
Once you activate VOIP in the settings, you can effortlessly communicate with your allies or enemies. Simply press the Z button and use your microphone to speak.
Please be aware that there are restrictions in place for in-game chat. The key binding for Push To Talk cannot be altered. Despite recent updates, this feature remains unchanged, although there may be potential solutions in the future. Currently, the only available choice is Push To Talk. However, as Madfinger Games continues to release updates, it is possible that more options will become accessible.
Although communication is crucial, certain missions, such as the Rat’s Nest, require players to chat and collaborate with one another.
