Players of Gray Zone Warfare must finish a specific amount of missions in order to unlock Rat’s Nest within the game. This task primarily involves retrieving two pieces of crucial information, which is easier said than done. Follow these steps to successfully complete Rat’s Nest in Gray Zone Warfare.

How to Begin the Rat’s Nest Task in Gray Zone Warfare

Handshake will assign you the Rat’s Nest task in Gray Zone Warfare once you have completed Restoring Order. This quest requires you to find intel from criminal hideouts, which unfortunately will not be disclosed to you. However, being aware of the map squares will make the job much easier.

These are the relevant coordinates for the different locations, which may differ depending on your faction:

Mithras Security Systems – Map Square 169, 119 in Nam Thaven (first intel), Map Square 172, 118 in Nam Thaven (second intel)
Crimson Shield International – Map Square 141, 162 in Kiu (first Intel), Map Square 143, 162 in Kiu Vongsa (second intel)
Lamang Recovery Initiative focuses on gathering intel from two specific locations: Map Square 202, 160 in Pha Lang (first Intel) and Map Square 201, 163 in Pha (second Intel).

Although the coordinates may differ, the structure of the quest remains the same.

How to Complete the Rat’s Nest Task in Gray Zone Warfare

To locate the initial intelligence, keep an eye out for a dual room within a single-level structure. This building is easily distinguishable due to the red graffiti on its wall. On a small table, you will come across the Convict’s Notepad and a phone. Be sure to retrieve the notepad as it is the first piece of intelligence.

At the second location, there is a two-story building. Upon reaching the second floor, you will come across a desk where you can find Thug’s Smartphone and a computer. Similar to the first building, the wall surrounding this one also has red graffiti. Make sure to grab the smartphone, as it is the second graffiti in this area.

After obtaining both pieces of intel, return to the base. You can finish the quest from the vendor’s section and obtain the listed rewards.
