Exciting GTA 6 Reference Discovered in GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition

In a thrilling twist, a new reference to the highly anticipated GTA 6 has emerged within the recently updated GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition. This development comes shortly after a significant patch aimed at rectifying the numerous issues that plagued the game since its launch.

The Trilogy’s Road to Redemption

After facing overwhelming criticism upon its release three years ago, the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition received a long-awaited update in November. This patch not only improved graphical fidelity but also introduced various quality-of-life enhancements. Notably, it even removed the logo of developer Grove Street Games from the game’s start-up screen.

Unearthing a Hidden Clue

As players re-explored the iconic environments of Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas, they stumbled upon an intriguing Easter egg—a reference to GTA 6. Currently, Rockstar has shared just one trailer for the upcoming installment, which is slated for release in Fall 2025. Enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for additional information and have analyzed the trailer’s details, leading them to make this discovery.

One player, known as BS_BlackScout, pointed out a peculiar sign in a store that states, “We will no longer accept cash stored in underwear.” This detail mirrors an image from the end of the GTA 6 trailer, where characters Lucia and Jason are seen storming a store with firearms.

More Than Just a Sign

Furthermore, moderator Spider-Vice implied that the game contains several textures related to GTA 6, including one associated with a printer or fax machine. Interestingly, this texture was part of the game prior to the update, but players overlooked it due to it being flipped incorrectly.

A History of Speculation

This is not the first instance of the GTA Trilogy stirring speculation regarding GTA 6. In 2021, keen-eyed players discovered a potential image of the upcoming game located at the Lil’ Probe’Inn in San Andreas. Among the various UFO images displayed, one captured a house with an unidentified flying object, leading fans to believe it might belong to the forthcoming title as no prior Rockstar game featured such a location.

Looking Ahead

As anticipation builds among fans for further news, including a potential second trailer, many are scouring the skies for any additional hints reminiscent of earlier Rockstar games’ teases. This latest find only intensifies the excitement surrounding GTA 6.
