It is possible that Rockstar Games is preparing to reveal additional information about GTA 6, six months after releasing the initial trailer in December 2023.
Ever since the record-breaking GTA 6 trailer confirmed Vice City’s return, fans have been eagerly anticipating more information about the game and its planned features from Rockstar.
Despite a period of silence, Rockstar has been busily making progress behind the scenes, with recent developments including the return of employees to the office for the sake of productivity and security.
Recently, players have noticed a series of changes on the Rockstar website that suggest an upcoming update and potentially reveal more details about GTA 6.
On May 7, a number of X users noticed that Rockstar had included a “screens”section on its GTA 6 page, indicating that they may be getting ready to share some screenshots.

Furthermore, a Reddit user successfully utilized the inspect element feature on their browser to reveal four screenshot boxes on the VI page, providing further evidence of ongoing developments.
After years of waiting, one enthusiastic player exclaimed, “There is even space for four screenshots… Could this finally be happening?!”
If you use inspect element you can see the box where the 4 GTA 6 screenshots appear to go. byu/pubgaxt inGTA6
Another person suggested, “Could this possibly indicate that the 2nd trailer will be released soon?”
Some also pointed out that Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar, is set to have its quarterly earnings call on May 16, leading to speculation that any announcements about GTA 6 may be made during that period.
Of course, as is typical with all things related to Grand Theft Auto, we should take this information with a grain of salt until there is an official announcement. However, the community has not been this excited since the release of the first trailer.
