Despite Take-Two’s confirmation that GTA 6 is still scheduled for release in Fall 2025, there is one major concern among Grand Theft Auto fans.
Despite massive leaks in September 2022, Rockstar Games and their publishers Take-Two managed to keep Grand Theft Auto 6 a closely guarded secret until December 2023. Official information was limited during this time.
Despite releasing the first trailer in December, Rockstar has once again remained quiet. Many players speculate that they have been dropping clues in GTA Online, but the company has not made any official statements. Instead, it is Take-Two who has been addressing any inquiries.
Despite some players’ concerns about the PC release, Rockstar’s publishers confirmed on their August 8 shareholder call that GTA 6 is still scheduled to be released in Fall 2025. This is reassuring news for fans eagerly anticipating the game’s arrival.
“It’s unfortunate that only GTA 6 is not launching with a PC release, as pointed out by one fan. Avoiding spoilers until the PC release will be difficult, and there may even be some who will cave and buy a console on release day, as commented by another fan. Another added their disappointment in the lack of a PC release on the same date as the console.”
GTA 6 will launch sometime in 2025.
Some individuals contended that Rockstar has a history of postponing PC releases and will likely continue this trend.
One disgruntled PC fan fired back, “They’ve had ample time, I won’t be purchasing it twice and neither will anyone I know. If they choose to delay it for a year, it doesn’t matter to me.”
Despite the anticipation for the PC release, fans of GTA are also urging the developers to release some screenshots. One fan even wrote, “Please give us some screenshots!”
