GTA Online players are expressing their frustration with Rockstar Games for altering the cooldown on Salvage Yard jobs, labeling it as the developer’s “most foolish”nerf in recent memory.
Over the past few years, Rockstar Games has introduced several new businesses to GTA Online. However, it is the Salvage Yard that has received the most attention from both the developers and players who choose to participate.
The Salvage Yard, introduced in the Chop Shop Update, enables players to steal and scrap cars for a lucrative sum. However, there is also the occasional opportunity to purchase high-quality vehicles at a discounted price.
Despite the recent Bottom Dollar Bounties update, the business has faced a minor setback. Rockstar implemented a short cooldown between Tow Truck jobs, causing frustration among fans.
According to Redditor Demzz, the decision by R* to nerf the salvage yard is one of the most foolish decisions made in a while. Demzz also expressed their belief that it was a petty and unnecessary move.
The opinion quickly gained traction among other players. One player commented, “I am always amazed by Rockstar’s choices.”Another added, “I won’t be towing anymore because of this update, they completely ruined that aspect of the game. It’s become so tedious and frustrating.”
Salvage Yard Robberies can lead to some nice cars in your garage.
Some players pointed out that Rockstar had prioritized addressing this issue over other persistent problems, such as the auto shop malfunctioning and ammunition disappearing upon logging in.
Despite the developers of Grand Theft Auto releasing a fix for the aforementioned problem, some players are still encountering issues where they lose a significant amount of in-game currency whenever they play online. As a result, the developers may need to revisit the issue and provide further updates.
Despite the ongoing issue with the Salvage Yard, it is highly unlikely that the nerf will be reversed unless there is a complete abandonment of the area by players, which is highly improbable. Therefore, it seems that we will remain in this situation.
