Guide to Acquiring and Equipping Wings for Flight in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Guide to Acquiring and Equipping Wings for Flight in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley, Wings have traditionally served as a whimsical accessory for character customization. However, with the release of the Jungle Getaway update, they now hold significant functionality.

If you have a pair of Wings stashed in your wardrobe, now is the perfect opportunity to bring them back into play and adorn your character once again.

As highlighted in the Jungle Getaway patch notes, donning Wings will change your gliding action into a flying animation. Here’s a guide on how to obtain and utilize Wings effectively.

You can earn Wings by fulfilling various quests, completing tasks in the Star Path, or buying them from the Premium Shop.

Here are some Wings currently available:

  • Upon reaching level 22, you can claim the Sparkly Wings as a reward within the royal attire collection.
  • At level 38, you will unlock the Thorny Wings that are part of the Forgetting costume.
  • After completing The Dark Castle main story quest, you will receive the Cardboard Wings.
  • Completing Buzz Lightyear’s level 10 friendship quest grants you the Space Ranger Wings.

While the ongoing Star Path event, The Night Show, doesn’t currently offer any wings, previous Star Paths have often included them. Notable examples are the Raven Wings from the Villain’s Star Path and the Wings of Winter from the Royal Winter Star Path.

Additionally, some wings—like the Rainbow Wings—are exclusive to the Premium Shop and are anticipated to return shortly.

To equip your Wings and take flight, access your Wardrobe and navigate to the Gliders section. When you equip Wings from this category rather than the Wings menu, you enable flight capabilities while retaining the glider functionality.

Once your Wings are equipped, exit the Wardrobe and press shift on PC, B on Xbox, square on PlayStation, or ZL on Nintendo to take to the skies in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Just remember to maintain sufficient stamina, which can easily be managed with Tiana’s Stall. Besides Wings, the Jungle Getaway update introduced more exciting features, including the chance to unlock Timon and Pumbaa if you meet the necessary criteria.
