How to Acquire Dill Bits in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2

Dill Bits serve as the physical cryptocurrency within Fortnite, and they can be found hidden inside vaults scattered throughout the game map. To collect these valuable tokens, players must engage in combat, defeating guards and breaking into vaults. Consequently, Dill Bits hold greater value compared to Gold Bars due to the additional effort required for their acquisition.

Every match presents players with the chance to find **five vaults**, marked by specific symbols visible on the map. Notable vault locations include:

Masked Meadows
Crime City
Lonewolf Lair
Seaport City
Armored Train (a mobile vault)

While the first four vaults are consistently housed within the same building across matches, the Armored Train is constantly on the move and must be boarded to access its vault.

The vaults at the aforementioned points of interest (excluding the Armored Train) are heavily guarded by Fletcher Kane’s henchmen. Although these guards are relatively easy to defeat, players should be cautious of other enemy combatants drawn to these high-loot locations.

To breach the vault, first seek out a **Thermite**.Place it on the vault door to initiate the opening process. If you’re lucky enough to find a **Plasma Burst Laser**, use it to expedite opening the vault door.

After entering the vault, be prepared for waves of enemies—defeat them to collect the precious **two Dill Bits** inside. Keep an eye on the indicator bar at the top of the screen to remain aware of incoming threats.

Looting the Armored Train Vault in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2

Though it may seem challenging to hijack the moving **Armored Train**, many players find it less overwhelming than the stationary vaults. Equip yourself and gather weapons in preparation. Identify the train’s location on your map and pursue it using a vehicle.

The Armored Train frequently stops at different stations, offering opportunities to board even when it’s in motion. Once aboard, ascend to the roof and disable the **turrets**.If you find yourself under fire, drop to the platform connecting the train’s compartments to evade attacks.
Eliminate the **two turrets** situated on the train, and collect additional **Thermites** from them.
Utilize the **Thermites** on the hatch located on the central bogey to create an entry point (as depicted in the previous images).Be sure to step back to avoid damage as it detonates and exposes the main loot compartment.
Prepare for battle as NPCs will emerge from the vault to ambush you once you breach it.
After defeating the NPCs, loot the surrounding area within the train for more treasures, including the Dill Bits you initially sought.

Upon exploring the Armored Train vault, I discovered a total of **two Dill Bits**, alongside some incredible gear such as the **Falcon Eye Sniper** and **The Kneecapper** melee weapon.

Utilizing Dill Bits in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2

Unlike Gold Bars, Dill Bits cannot be carried over to future matches, making it essential to utilize them promptly. Players can head to the nearest **Black Market** to spend their Dill Bits on coveted **mythic** and **legendary items**.The following **Boons** are also available for purchase:

Vulture Boon: Reveals locations where players have been eliminated.
Gold Rush Boon: Unlocks a speed boost for movement and pickaxe swinging when you open or destroy chests.
Adrenaline Rush Boon: Grants the Slap effect, regenerating your energy while performing actions such as mantling, hurdling, or wall jumping.
Gold Ammo Boon: Collecting Gold Bars also yields supplementary ammo.
Greed Boon: Increases the number of Gold Bars acquired through player eliminations and containers.
