Guide to Acquiring the Lost Memento in Destiny 2

<p>The Festival of the Lost has returned, bringing with it the coveted Lost Memento. Here’s how you can obtain this sought-after cosmetic during Destiny 2’s most recent holiday celebration.

Introduced last year by Bungie, the Lost Memento is a distinctive cosmetic that can be attached to weapons, transforming their appearance to an intense black. This shade is even darker than the Superblack shader, which pales in comparison.

In the Festival of the Lost 2024, players have another opportunity to acquire the Lost Memento and enhance their weapon aesthetics to resemble the depths of night. Below is a guide on acquiring the Lost Memento in Destiny 2.

You can obtain a Lost Memento as a reward for completing the hidden ‘Twilight’ triumph or by focusing engrams at Eva Levante located at The Tower. Note that focusing engrams is only available after you successfully finish the aforementioned triumph.

The first approach guarantees you one Lost Memento, while the second can potentially yield multiple mementos during the event but relies heavily on chance. Additionally, the likelihood of obtaining a Lost Memento from an engram is quite low, so it’s uncertain whether you will receive one.

If you aim to secure a guaranteed Lost Memento through the Twilight triumph, check the following section for detailed steps.

The ‘Twilight’ triumph can be located within the General tab on the Episode: Revenant triumphs page. However, the specifics of this triumph are concealed, with the three required tasks indicated as ‘???’. This obscures the necessary actions to successfully fulfill them.

Fortunately, we’ve uncovered the details of these tasks. Here are the three objectives needed to complete the Twilight triumph:

  • Hidden Objective 1: Equip the Tower Staff Mask, which can be obtained by completing the Hocus Focusing event challenge, and interact with Eva Levante, then speak with Saint-14 in the Tower’s hangar.
  • Hidden Objective 2: Achieve 100 Explosive Kills while wearing the Cursed Thrall Mask. This can be accomplished through various methods, but the quickest way is to utilize a Grenade Launcher in locations with heavy mob density, like the beginning encounter in Grasp of Avarice or during the Shuro Chi encounter in Last Wish.
  • Hidden Objective 3: Obtain 50 Sword Kills in Expert Haunted Sectors while equipped with the Finalized Ghost Mask, which can be earned through the Candy Corner event challenge.

After accomplishing all three hidden tasks, you will be able to claim the triumph and receive a Lost Memento. Moreover, this will add the Lost Memento to the drop pool for Eerie Engrams, allowing you to earn more simply by claiming them from Eva Levante.
