How to Create a Bridge in Tiny Glade

Tiny Glade provides a wide range of building options, yet it noticeably lacks a preset bridge option. Until such a feature is possibly introduced in the future, you can still explore some creative techniques to design your own bridge.

For example, if you have a pond or stream in your glade, you might want a bridge that spans across it, linking it to the rest of your quaint little villa.

The first and simplest method to achieve this is by selecting the ‘pathway’ build block (the second icon from the left). Adjust the width of the path by sliding the control above it left or right. Then, drag the circle cursor over the desired area to create a path. This technique works for both land and water surfaces. You can drag it across the water to create a stepstone path (as illustrated above).

If you’re aiming for a more solid stone bridge, a little more creativity will be necessary. This time, click the orange building button (the first icon on the left) and select the second building option from the pop-up menu. Position it horizontally in the water, aligning it with the direction you want the bridge to extend.

Next, your goal is to flatten that building as much as possible. Utilize the editing controls to lower the structure’s roof completely. Then, from the bottom of the building, use the controls to increase the height of the foundation to your desired elevation above the water. Alternatively, if you prefer to keep the base submerged, doing so can make it easier to connect your bridge.

Once you’ve leveled the building to resemble a bridge, you can repeat the process by adding more building structures on either side, extending the bridge to your preference. Flatten those extensions until they are all level and properly aligned. To more effectively blend your bridge into the surrounding landscape, use the pathway builder option at either end of the bridge to create steps, though it’s important to note that the bridge shouldn’t be excessively elevated for this feature to work.

If you prefer your bridge to be higher, you can utilize the “hill builder”option (the dark green button in the center) to create a natural, elevated path leading up to your bridge (as shown above). Though it may not look as refined, it’s still a practical solution.
