<p>Starting off in Throne and Liberty can feel quite overwhelming. You’re introduced to a variety of controls, different gameplay modes, some frustrating bugs, and a plethora of weapons, armor, and combat styles to master. With all this happening, it’s easy to overlook personalizing your character’s appearance.
Fortunately, if you’ve made an error in your character design or simply wish to refresh your look—something frequently requested in popular MMORPGs like Throne and Liberty—there is a way to change your appearance.
So, if you’re ready to change things up, here’s a guide on how to modify your appearance and the essential ticket you’ll need to purchase to get started.
How to Change Your Appearance: Step-by-Step Guide
Thankfully, altering your appearance in Throne and Liberty is straightforward, but you will need to spend some Lucent for an Appearance Change Ticket.
To change your appearance, follow these steps:
- Acquire an Appearance Change Ticket.
- Open the Main Menu.
- Select Character Info.
- Click on Mirror Boutique.
- Choose Change Appearance.
Step 1 – Buy an Appearance Change Ticket
While modifying your appearance is not overly complicated, it does come at a cost—specifically, 250 Lucent, approximately equivalent to $10, as you’ll need to purchase 500 Lucent.
To proceed, access the main menu and enter the store. Scroll down slightly to locate the Appearance Change Ticket. Purchase it with your Lucent, and you’ll be set to change your character’s look.
Step 2 – Head into the Main Menu
After obtaining the Ticket, exit the purchase screen and enter the Main Menu (press F11 on PC or the start button on Console).
You should see it in the bottom right corner of your screen. If the items at the top are greyed out, continue progressing in the tutorial until you unlock it.
Step 3 – Click on Character Info
When you’re in the main menu, navigate to Character Info, located in the top left of the window, marked in red in the image below.
PC users can simply press P to access the menu; otherwise, either method is effective.
Step 4 – Enter Mirror Boutique
After selecting Character Info, a new window will appear, showcasing your weapons, armor, base damage, and stats.
In the top right corner, you’ll see Mirror Boutique. Click this button to access a more streamlined menu.
Step 5 – Change Your Appearance
Within this menu, at the top left, you’ll find Change Appearance. Simply click it, and you will be directed to the appearance editing screen where you can modify various features, just as you did during character creation.
While this process may require a few clicks, once you learn the steps, you can adjust your character as needed. Just remember that each alteration requires a new Appearance Change Ticket, so proceed with care.
What Can You Change?
Similar to the initial character creation in Throne and Liberty, players have the ability to modify virtually every aspect of their character in the editing screen.
You can change body type, facial features, cheekbones, hair, hair color, eye shape, ear shape, and even preview the appearance of your Morphs.
Thankfully, the editor is very comprehensive, justifying the amount of Lucent required for editing. It’s advisable to be cautious with your changes to avoid incurring high costs from multiple edits.
