In Escape from Tarkov, players encounter various chain quests that require revisiting specific map locations multiple times. One of the challenging tasks takes place within the Lighthouse’s water treatment facility. Despite the risks, it’s possible to complete several quests within a single raid. Guide to Completing Easy Job Part 1 in Escape from Tarkov
To successfully complete Easy Job Part 1, you need to accomplish the following tasks:
- Find the helicopter located at the water treatment plant on Lighthouse
- Place an MS2000 Marker on the helicopter
- Survive and extract from the area
After marking the helicopter and defending it, if you die, you won’t have to mark it again. In your next raid, you only need to survive and extract from Lighthouse. However, completing everything in one raid is advisable for efficiency.
Before heading into the raid, ensure you equip one MS2000 Marker in your special equipment slot. When you enter a Lighthouse raid, aim for a spawn point near the water treatment plant, ideally near the village, the red Lexus car, or the swamp area. If you don’t spawn nearby, carefully navigate your way to the plant.
Players on the BEAR faction will find this task significantly more challenging, as they must eliminate all Rogues before entering the water treatment plant. Quick eliminations are crucial, as USEC PMCs or player Scavs can swiftly invade the area, snatching any valuable loot from the Rogues.
Finding the Helicopter for Easy Job Part 1 in Lighthouse
The helicopter is situated on the eastern side of the water treatment facility. Upon entering the plant through the main entrance, proceed straight to the tents and veer right. Look for a circular opening or bunker where you’ll find crates and storage boxes. The bunker adjacent to warehouse 3 is where the helicopter you need to mark is located.
Once you arrive at the helicopter, go to its rear and place the MS2000 marker inside. Alternatively, you can put it on the steel floor next to the crates, but placing it inside offers better protection from gunfire while you defend this critical objective. If you find yourself trapped in the bunker, you’ll be vulnerable as you are exposed to fire from the mountainside, the rooftops of warehouses, and nearly any direction outside the bunker. If the situation becomes dire, simply place the marker, wait for the timer, and retreat.
If you die during your attempt, you can re-attempt the raid to survive and extract. It’s also a great opportunity to tackle other quests, such as Cargo X Part 4 or Energy Crisis. Completing multiple quests in a single raid maximizes your efficiency and leveling speed. Completing Easy Job Part 1 also rewards you with the coveted 6Sh118 Raid Backpack, a highly sought-after item for players starting their money-making runs.
