While preparing your optimal weapons and loadouts back at the Safe House is beneficial, you won’t be able to do much against tricky puzzles like Jane’s Scavenger Hunt during the Separation Anxiety main quest.
This guide will walk you through the process of unlocking the chest to retrieve the Shard, allowing you to continue on your mission to take down enemies in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Separation Anxiety Puzzle Solution
To successfully navigate Jane’s Scavenger Hunt puzzle within Separation Anxiety, you need to decipher the clues located in the Desk, the Scouts’ cupboard, and the Tea Party. These will provide you with the three-digit code necessary to access the Shard chest. In my experience, the code was 918, but follow the detailed steps below to see if you arrive at the same conclusion:
Step 1: Examine the Desk
Your first clue is found on the Desk. Here, you need to identify the highest score, which is 9. This figure will serve as the initial digit in your code.
Step 2: Decode the Scouts’ Puzzle
Next, proceed to the Scouts’ area. The clue here requires you to subtract the total number of Badges from the total number of Trophies. You will find 5 Trophies and 4 Badges. Performing the subtraction (5 – 4) yields 1, which becomes the second digit of your code.
Step 3: Decode the Tea Party Clue
Lastly, head over to the Tea Party area. Count the guests present at the gathering, which totals 4. You then simply need to double this number (4 x 2) to arrive at 8, which represents the third and final digit of the code.
Step 4: Unlock the Chest
After you’ve compiled all the digits, the code will become apparent. The sequence is dictated by the order in which you encountered the puzzles initially.
The highest score from the Desk gives you 9, the calculation from Trophies and Badges at the Scouts yields 1, and doubling the Tea Party guests nets you 8.
