Season 4 Reloaded introduces the Unstable Rift, which offers players a chance to complete a new MW3 Zombies Easter egg and unlock the animated Mark of the Survivor camo.

Completing all five stages of the Unstable Rift can be a daunting task, but by following this guide, the challenge becomes more manageable. Here, you will find all the necessary information about the Easter egg.

Completing Dark Aether Unstable Rift

To begin the step-by-step guide for the Dark Aether Unstable Rift, make sure to meet the necessary loadout requirements. These include having the Brain Rot, Cyro Freeze, Dead Wire, and Napalm Burst Ammo Mods equipped, as they are essential for completing certain steps of the Easter egg.

Furthermore, ensuring the inclusion of the RGL-80 Launcher or Crossbow in the loadout will also be crucial.

To complete the Unstable Rift, simply follow the steps provided below.

1. Upon starting a game, your task is to locate the four randomly placed Obelisk Alters (Seals) scattered throughout the map. This may require some time and thorough searching, so be sure to stay diligent.
2. Once you discover a mod, you must equip the corresponding ammo mod and activate it at the Obelisk Alter.
3. Interact with each Obelisk Alter (Seal) using the various Ammo Mods and eliminate the Zombies that spawn around the activated circle.
4. Once the Seals have all been activated, the Unstable Rift will become accessible and you will be able to enter it. This portal is typically found within Tier 3 zones. Once the objective is accomplished, any player in the game can take control of the Rift and use it to enter.
5. Upon entering, you will receive all of the Zombies Perks, as well as the Mags of Holding Schematic. In addition, you will be equipped with a Golden Armor and both of your weapons will be fully Pack-A-Punched. However, please note that Tombstone is currently disabled, so if you happen to die, you will lose all of your equipment.
