Since its release in 2023, Remnant 2 has received numerous updates, including expansions and new gameplay features. One of the exciting additions is the Boss Rush Mode, where players can test their character builds. Here’s how you can get started with the Boss Rush Mode in Remnant 2.
How to Access Boss Rush Mode in Remnant 2
All players can access the Boss Rush Mode in Remnant 2 without needing any downloadable content (DLC). Though it was released alongside The Dark Horizon DLC, this mode is included in a free update available to everyone.
Additionally, there are no prerequisites for players looking to enter this mode, meaning you can join at any time without needing to complete the main campaign or reach a specific level. This is in line with how you would access Adventure Mode.
To start the Boss Rush Mode, interact with a red World Stone and select the World Settings option at the bottom of the menu. You will find a new option for Boss Rush next to Adventure Mode. Select Create New Boss Rush Mode to begin.
Players can choose from three different modes: Triple Threat, Trial by Fire, and The Gauntlet. Each option allows players to fight three, six, or 19 bosses, respectively. After selecting your desired option, choose one of the four difficulty levels to create a new game that will not affect Campaign or Adventure modes.
Remnant 2 Boss Rush Mode Rewards
Upon completing a Boss Rush, players in Remnant 2 will earn a variety of rewards, including experience points, crafting materials, and gear. All rewards are retained on the chosen character.
Each boss battle consists of two stages: the first involves defeating a horde followed by a mini-boss, and the second features the main boss. During each stage, players can discover and open treasure chests filled with materials and consumables.
While there are no specific gear drops tied to this mode, it provides an excellent opportunity to acquire any gear you may have previously missed. Additionally, the experience gained is beneficial for the new Prism system introduced with the recent free update.
