It appears that every season in Disney Dreamlight Valley introduces a fresh selection of ingredients, and currently, the focus is on delightful seasonal treats: Blue Marshmallows.
The End of Summer event for DDV is in full swing, rolling out the blue carpet for Blue Marshmallows. These enticing items are appearing across diverse biomes, just waiting to be gathered.
If you’ve been exploring the Valley for Blue Marshmallows but only found softwood and stones, you may be searching in the wrong spots.
How to Obtain Blue Marshmallows
Seek out the sparks, not the marshmallow.
Blue Marshmallows can be located scattered across the Plaza, Dazzle Beach, Peaceful Meadow, Glade of Trust, and Forest of Valor.
They appear as small blue items on the ground and will emit a glow when you’re nearby. While they’re tiny, looking for a glowing indication can simplify your search.
If you have the A Rift in Time DLC, consider using an Ancient Vacuum to automatically collect Blue Marshmallows as they respawn. Alternatively, advancing time in-game can also aid your search, as marshmallows are easier to spot at night.
Optimal Uses for Blue Marshmallows
After collecting Blue Marshmallows, you can utilize them to create delicious recipes at any Cooking Station during the End of Summer event. Here are recipes you can craft:
S’mores
Using one Blue Marshmallow, one Pink Marshmallow, and two Wheat, you can make S’mores at any cooking station.
Roasted Marshmallows
Blue Marshmallows can also be used to prepare Roasted Marshmallows, which require two Blue Marshmallows and two Pink Marshmallows.
Keep in mind that Blue Marshmallows are only available during the End of Summer event, taking place from September 4-26. Enjoy creating unique recipes and engaging in seasonal challenges!
